Paris, France

The Eiffel Tower was much prettier at night than during the day.

As my friend mark Lauser might say about Eiffel, "Some ought to dig that guy up and give him a medal. . ."

I have to hand it to the French, they can put on a show. . .

This was very difficult to time. . .

Opera Garner, with a beautiful staircase.

Notre Dame, a bit hard to see, as it was a night shot without a flash.

Beautifully decorated metro station entrances.

Postcard of Notre Dame.

Postcard of Notre Dame.

Pompadoo Center: a modern art museum that was designed to be incredibly functional with very deep trusses and the insides of the building on the outside.

Sacre Cuore: French for Sacred Heart. A big Church, though I did not actually get to go inside. I went up into the dome, and underneath into the basement-which was huge, I could not believe that there was a huge church on TOP of these huge rooms... I never got a chance to see inside because every time I went there, there were services.

And here is the basement. On the right is a Bulliten board, a light is shining on it. THat bulletin board is slightly taller than a man, making it about 6 feet tall...Remember the Church in the Picture above (and below too, is on TOP of this space..)

My picture of Sacre Cuore, with a disposable camera...not too shabby I think...

I have found I am kind of fond of ". . ." what do you think? In Italian they are called "puntini, puntini, puntini"
