Today's Orsay museum used to be a train station in the center of Paris. It was recently remodeled (In the last dozen or so years (by an Italian lady architect, no not one of my roommates). Today it is one of the most beautiful museums I have ever seen (despite the horrible picture I have taken of it). It has a wonder collections of sculpture, paintings, architecture, and Art Neuvo pieces. Though smaller (of course) than the Louve, this place outshines that ugly old warehouse any day of the week.
A photograph of the Orsay when it was a rail station.

A very bad photograph, taken by me. This is looking down on the exihibition space shown in teh first photograph.
A piece of Art Nuovo art...
Park De Villet is a huge park towards the perimeter of Paris.
It was recently rejuvenated by the work of Bernard Schumi and other architects.
One of my favorite parts of the part were the dozens of Red decosntructivist
Follies. The idea of a folly in this park stuck as a very wonderful idea.
Is it just me or does this folly just beg to climbed?
The information building at the entrance to the park.
