Perugia, Italy

A night shot, I was trying to get a shot of the nice quality of light that was shinning through some trees. I think it turned out kind of nice...

A postcard of the not so beautiful, yet fairly charming. Perugia city center. I have never actually seen perugia in the sun, I have only been there at night...Perhaps that makes the city seem more mysterious than it really is...

It is a bit difficult to read what I was trying to capture in this photo. A street wound its way from the bottom right to about the top-ish leftish/middlish. At the end of the street was a large church. The building are so tall and close together, that I could not actually see the street though, all I could see was the light coming from the street reflecting off the building walls. You can kind of see the street. It begins a little bit above the bottom most green branch and continues up at about a 30 degree angle...

A nice set of stairs I found on a postcard...

Perugia is a walled hill town, and was thus its growth was limited to the small hilly area protected by the city walls. People could not build out, so they built up. They seem to have gotten very good at vaulting...
